Workday's rich configurability, while powerful, can present hurdles for administrators aiming to rapidly deploy new capabilities and workflows. This case study explores an initiative to empower Workday administrators with user-facing frameworks that leverage AI to generate complex workflows, tailored to critical "jobs-to-be-done".
I led the design for this initiative, overseeing planning and discovery phases, and collaborating with product managers and scrum teams across multiple frameworks. Focused on usability, the AI-driven approach simplifies the creation of bespoke experiences and the integration of external data, equips administrators with intelligent tools that allow them to adapt Workday to their unique and evolving business needs—driving flexibility, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
